I enjoy spending time with children!
Always have loved spending time with young children. Now don't get the wrong idea. I am happy interacting with kids. Mental interaction - verbal interaction. Have enjoyed it more since I have grown some. As a young child myself - I was less comfortable with my peers. I'm not sure I really enjoyed being a Patrol in 6th grade.
As a father of young kids - was thrilled to watch them grow - help them explore the universe - learn with open eyes - willing to believe. Liked to play with them - still do - although as teen age young women - it is less cool for them to play as they used to as toddlers and much less cool to play with the old man - especially in public.
Had a chance to play with my nephews and nieces this weekend. My nephew is full of creative thinking - of possibilities.
Recently watch a TED talk on creativity - highlighting how a design agency provided lots of play tools to stimulate creativity and empower building - making new connections, constructions- seeing things in a new light - for its design and creative teams.
Reminded again of the power of open minds in making creative connections. Remember the power of play in creativity!

We needs to make room for new ideas!
Its important at the beginning of a Success Session to get the obsolete ideas out of the way - have people do homework in advance or groupwork together to get their exsiting ideas out...before we restate the idea and encourage different thinking to get at new ideas...
not that there is anything wrong with old ideas...sometimes they just need to be re-invented, contemporized, turned around, recoloured, etc....

The internet is til death do us part...and beyond
I was looking for some info on win-win strategic partnerships and came across an article in which I was quoted nearly 10 years ago - In a Strategy Magazine piece. This stuff never goes away. Ever.
so is it ok to quote myself in my presentation?
let me know with an email to info@thinkdoinc.com
